New PB!

dont get me wrong guys. It does have full bolt ons and headers. But this is a stock bottom end lq4 stock heads and 230/236 112 cam. i ran that time leaving on idle. Could have maybe left at 3000 and prob could have gone a 8 flat. My 60' was 1.8 i which sucks. Still have alot of room for improvement. Also, runnin a 80e, 3800 stall and 4.56 gears
It seems to not be weight transfering like it should. I tried spraying about a truck length out the hole and could only muster a 2.2 60' with a 8.09 fastest pass
. Ran a tad faster on 200 than it did on motor spinning the whole track. Should run some great times with the right suspension and traction.

Very impressive for a stock long block none the less. What is your mph? I remember my ZO6 only ran an 8.22@91 at Kennedale spinning pretty bad. A Viper Gts ran an 8.17 same night so you see why I'm so impressed? Its an NA truck...love it!

Look over the slips today. Both motor passes had a mph of 84 and both nitrous passes were 92 and the fastest of 93mph.
60' on both nitrous was 2.08 & 2.17
60' NA were 1.86 and 1.95
It has the mph!

well i have been thinking alot about it. This is what i can come up with. When i launch at idle on motor the suspension works for the launch and thin settles back down about the time i spray it and all it does is shock the rear tires loose the whole pass. I drove to the track and ran and drove home. Kinda didnt want to break anything spraying off the line. But it might have stuck and made the truck transfer weight harder for the help with traction with spray out the gate. Fixin to order new qa1 all around. She will have a nice pass coming soon!!! Also, got a set of 243s that are about to be sent off to TEA for there stage 2 porting.

, and 3rd gear it overboost from the load and pulls all the timing. So from 0-58 its quite time consuming, the 1-2 shift loads it to 15psi so from58-102ish its pulling strong, from 102-115 its sputtering and acting all weird then i looked up and saw the boost gauge at 25psi

Do you have caltracs?
We cut 0.12 off my buddys 60' just by moving the bars up one notch in the front.
They work great if you can spend the time dialing them in.

Yes I do have caltracs. It launched straight every pass. They are parallel to he ground at the moment. I thought that was what everyone wanted? My rear shocks are really soft. From what I have read u need stiff shocks to hold the rear downward for traction. That ay tires don't break loose.

Just gotta play with it.. on my buddys truck he has Rancho 9000XLs and we run them on about 1 (0 is softest). And to start out run the caltracs parallel to the ground.. then adjust and try diff stuff.
You just dont want it bouncing off the overloads and unloading your rear tires.
