ya my setup has issues to but from my worst to my best was about 3 tenths different and that was partially my fault anyways, theres def some big issues there

 

The truck is a ECSB. The 14.4 run was with ET Streets and the 16.2 run(yesterday) was with 20's. But I ran 16.2 with my 5.3 w/headers and tune also. This track doesn't give 60ft times. The truck spins a lot, even if I feather the throttle. I seemed to be the only one spinning this much. The only mod done after the tune was posi and gears. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I had a Yank 3000 installed with the motor swap. My [NGK] spark plugs aren't that old(wires are new too). The fuel filter was changed about 6 to 8 months ago. My tires are 285/50/20's. Allen said that I may have fuel problems, so maybe I need a pump and some injectors. But still, I've put too much into this truck to be running the same as I did without the 6.0 and other stuff.

 

14.4@96 is still pretty slow for your mods...should be trapping at least 100mph in the 1/4. Don't sweat it, get it on the dyno and re-tuned and figure out your problem.

 

Check your throttle cable, a guy that i know has a cammed camaro LS1 that ran a 14.4, checked the cable and it was too long, got a shorter one, and ran 12's!

sounds to me like you are runnin out of fuel

what size cam do you have

 

Cam is a 226 w/ 584 lift.

 

stock 6.0 injectors? if so you might need to upgrade to 8.1's.

 

Yeah, stock 6.0 injectors. If I did upgrade injectors, would I need to get a better fuel pump right away?
