And man it felt good to take her back out to the track. I'm still a little worried about the noise I had in the motor, but it is gone now. I hope that doesn't mean it's getting ready to let go on me.

My best run ever (in cool February air last year) was a 9.09 at ~80mph in the 1/8. In the almost 90* humid air today I ran 9.13 @ 79. I had a MUCH better short time today--for some reason, both tires spun in the burnout, and evidently on the launch, because I cut a 2.20 60' on 20" low profile tires!
