Stock shortblock here too!

 

havent read the thread on tech, but I have a stock shortblock too!!

 

Im a ssb to, but my ***** weak.

 

I tea it but couldn't find where they were going to do a nbs/nnbs class for trucks. I can't see how we would have a chance with 3200lb an lighter cars. If they do a 4000 and up class or just strictly truck class that would be so sweet!

 

I'm pretty sure it's running high 9's right now at full weight with a 76mm turbo all boost, and off the foot brake. I just need to get a run of somewhere while it's still alive This GT76 at 18psi is a complete savage compared to the Tnetics T78 I was running. About 200~250 hp more than what blew up my last stock short block lol Still that would get us no respect vs a 1700lb lighter car. We need to get a boosted S-10 to get after em.

 

Those guys always have so much drama with any of their events. I say we should vote on a centrally located track, make our own set of rules, advertise the event and go at it as a strictly truck event. I've been to lots of these races and I can say for the most parts the all-truck races are more fun and more laid back.


Or push for this to be a class at the next LS1 truck shootout??

 

Thats what im talkin about jus a stock shortblock factory head class for ecsb an rcsb.Somthin around early next season or maybe the ls1truck event could tach on the classes that would work too.When is the ls1truck event?

 

usually in Feb sometime.

 

I personally don't aftermarket heads I run 317's but a stock bottom end will on hold X amount of power so I don't think it matters what type of heads,cam, turbo , nitrous or even both matters. It would he nice to see this class at the SA shootout. Whoever guts their truck will probly take the win lol
