The 35's arent light, but I would still think you could muster better than a 2.1 60' with a 4k stall. Are you a 4x4? Why not launch in 4x4 and get aggressive with it? The time you make up off the line will help more that what you lose on the big end.

He is worried about doing so with a Torsion lift and no braces in the front.

Ahhh sorry I missed that post.

Too bad... you have a converter that allows you to get to the sweet spot of your powerband, but you cant use it. I can't help but think such a loose converter is worse on the big end than say a 3600, or even a 3200. My guess is if you have to ***** foot it to much out of the hole anyway, you could spin em with a 3200 also... and everything beyond the 60' would most likely improve with the 3200 converter.

Right now to me the answer is simple... You have the drivetrain to make power off the line. Find a way to use it. If you can accomplish that, your times are there waiting for you. It will also be your best friend on the street. I can't imagine you would take too many people in a roll race with those big *** tires anyway...

if i can find a idler/pitman drop to get the suspension geometry back to normal i know i can break 13s in 4wd. it just sucks i actully cant leave hard in 2wh or leave in 4. as for this last time at the track i ran full weight with no tailgate and ran a 70/30 setting on the rear shocks. hopefully between assasin or caltracs and the front drag shocks i can get that 60 down to at least a 1.9 my best was a high 2.09. with the heads, bigger tb, roller rockers udps how many tenths do you think is droppable? i figure roughly 30-40 with heads and full point in CR jump, 5-10 from throttle body, probably 5-10 from rockers and udps are roughly 7-15

as for the 3200 thats what i had originally had, once i blew up the converter they made a mistake and restalled it to 4k. itll flash under heavy load in 3rd to about 4100, but footbraking if i remember i cant go above 3500.

as for the timeslip here it is broken down

red lighted but oh well lol

shocks are comp engineering 3 way adjustables set on 70/30 in the rear, my broke *** hasnt ordered the 90/10s yet lol. and slowec that i think it would not being able to leave on converter is probably killing me. i know itll do 13s on this setup if itd just plant and go. only dilemma is with the slicks the biggest i could go is a 33" and with my 4.88s thats putting my overall gear ratio at a 4.30 if i remember right
