Hey everyone, lets say a 2007 gmc sierra vortec max 6.0 4x4 crew cab with intake, long tube headers, no cats and a dyno tune.... how quick would it be in the 1/4 mile? what do you think? What do they run stock? Would a cam give alot more gain? If so, how quick then? thanks!

 

Don't know, but of course a cam will give it a lot more of a gain. thats the point of a cam silly

 

well, yeah i know it will give it more gain... but i was just wondering maybe by how much? Would it mess with the cylinder deactivation on the highway? Would it make the mileage plummet?

 

depends on the cam, the tune, and the tuner.

 

with what your saying it should be mid to low 14's in good weather. cam might get you in the 13's.

 

Crewcab....4x4.....LQ9 and bolt ons....mid to high 14's.
