I am glad dodge came out with the Hemi and Ford is bumped its hp ratings on their 5.4 by 40 hp. This only causes competition and raised the bar higher. Hopefully this will knock some sence into GM and offer a 345 hp 6.0 on the 1/2 ton truck.

so, what exactly is the TMR mod? you've mentioned it several times but not told what it is. Hemi's are great for towing mildly heavy loads, but that's about it. i pulled one in my mom's bone *** stock 2003 Yukon it was a reg cab, short bed with dual exhaust.

I callin' bullshit. I've one with my 2500hd and walked him and he had a 1500 ecsb same as mine, rode in a 1500 scsb and he might run with me. They don't run as good as 345hp should.

Seems the dodge boys with there hemis claim to mop up everything on the street,even SS's.The real proof is that motortrend ran the 2x4 rcsb hemi against the 500Lb heavier SS and the SS was quicker both 345 HP,a more matched race would have been a 4x4 quad cab hemi.The only other reported strip match was with seeing red against hemi 38.Both rcsb 5.7 vs 5.3 the 5.3 had taller gears and the chev came out on top.The dodge boys didnt want to believe it.The real proof was his 88MPH trap speed against the chevys 93+MPH there is your proof,guess how much better fuel mileage gets over the hemi?Hemi 345HP is overated period.The chevys are pulling 240-250HP on the dyno the hemis are 250-260 on the dynos.Fact is the Hemi trucks are time bombs.Hey but the folk that buy them love there looks.

Well, they do have a better marketing plan. I do like the hemi commercials.
I saw a reg cab hemi coming up from behind me on the freeway last month. I slowed to about 50 and moved right to let him beside me. He had custom paint, wheels, and grill. As I look over to see if he's game, he hit it. I jumped in and started off at his door. From 50 mph to 80, I had 3 trucks on him. He was no match, but probably didn't have the super free mod or whatever.
