hemi truck runs 14.02 at 95mph in the 1/4

There a guy who comes and gets gas at my Chevron gas station and he has a quad cab hemi with a cut out.He know who I am and a few weeks ago he pulled out of my parking lot behind me when I was goin to the bank.He came next to me and we were riding side by side.I figured out that it was him and we hammered down.From 30-60MPH I put 2 lengths on him.A couple of days later he came back for gas again and he told me that my truck suprised him,and that it ran good.
Just thought I'd post it since were talkin about hemis here.

vortec350.......some guys that have hemi trucks dont know about the free mods that you can do to these trucks......just the TMR mod is worth 4-5 tenths in the 1/4 mile thats like putting an extra 40-50hp and its free.... theres other mods that are also free that help....all i have on my truck is a homemade intake k&n filter and flowmaster 40 muffler thats it other mods where free....if i could get some better tires my truck will run 13s easy....and thats with very little mods on the truck

h777 ...... Good running truck. I was hopeing those rams would start to rut.
So far the dozen or so I've raced (Killed) ran 15+ tall 80's. I hope they raise
the bar,I've been pretty unimpressed so far.
A friend bought a rcsb Hemi but the electrical grimlins have already got him unhappy, he doesn't need to race me.

My little 4.8 only ran a 14.3 at 96mph. Your 345hp 5.7 is much faster.

tntrk53........the hemi trucks dont run as good till they get over 5k miles on them then you do the free mods and they wake up and start running much better....just remember not all hemi owners know about the free mods that will give them a 6-7 tenth drop in the 1/4 mile.... soon most will know of the free mods and will be running low 14s and some in the 13s.......my truck has 10k miles on it and its never been back to the dealer.....not one problem with my truck
