The 4L60 with the really low 1st gear was really violent and I used a controller to try and manage it a little more

While it wasn't a **** ton of power, that isn't what always wins races.

He said he was looking for a basic setup that works and was not going to do a 4link. That's exactly what I have. Basic, and it works. I KNOW the same basic setup will work(with a radial even) launching on a trans brake with 10# on truck just like ours that made over 900rwhp. I watched it with my own two eyes. Takes effort and lots of testing.

You can do it 4wd or you can spend as much time and effort as I did to make mine work.

Same road. Same kind of trucks(chevy rcsb). Both nitrous combo's. I stuck it, he spun and I drug that ***. Granted, bottle was a little low on this pass so it didn't leave as hard as normal...No prep except what I did a burnout in

seems like you had to feather it out? like it hit hard but almost broke you let off then back in it ? save it from breaking loose ?

definitely nice vid! not as violent as i would have thought. but then again im seeing it from a vid.

Against the blue truck, the bottle was running low so it wasn't a normal pass, little soft, but I never had to lift

1st pass against the camaro, controller was .3 for 1.2 seconds. It was my second pass with the 4l80, it was cold and I didn't want to spin.

2nd pass against the g8 was .5 for .8

3rd pass was 100% at the hit. I was still having some trouble with the bouncing

There's definitely "better" options out there for what we're doing, but it doesn't get any more basic than what I have. And with a little want to, it can and will work
