Well got the gears installed and they will be broken in by Friday, so what better way to test them out then at the track...

I'm looking for some guesses/opions as what yall think I will run in the 1/4 mile.

For reference, I ran a 15.02@90mph 2.22 60ft back in November with a -200 DA. This run was with stock 3.42's (open locker), hypershitter, no cats, and a single bullet muffler.

Mod list for Friday will be
-Wheatley Tune
-Stock exhaust manifolds-No cats-single bullet
-4.10 gears w/ eaton
-100 shot
-255/50/16 MT DR's

This is in an ex. cab 5.3 liter with stock wheel/tire size on front and the DR's in the back.

Just want your opinion as to what I will run and see if my expectations I have are low/high considering yours.

 

With this crappy weather, I say somewhere in the low 14 s. What color ir your truck ? Me and the crew should be out there.

 

Pewter...I will be on 26" DR's on stock wheel, you running or watching? Low 14? I have atmosphere in a bottle.

 

you'll be in the 13's... when do you plan on spraying it??

 

Out of the hole...60hp instantly@1900rpm so the stock converter will flash higher, ~2 sec build time till 100shot.

 

Im guessing 13.9 @ 100. Good luck out there. Keep it straight and break nothing but records!

 

Speaking of records, I'm wondering what's the fastest stock internal 5.3 ex. cab with any power adder is?

 

Mine's stock except for cam and springs... Stew is the bone stock 5.3 record holerd with his 13.8 I believe

 

Yeah, Stew is fastest ex. cab stock internal 5.3 n/a, I'm talking with any power adder...looks like it is "whoopassracer" with a 12.79@105+ 1.88 60ft. He was stock converter and slicks with a radix and boltons. Also, looks like I got some work to do.

 

mine went 12.72 @ 115 on the Dyno for whatever that counts ... on the 150 pills.... it spun on the dyno. it would have been faster.... I want to get this one in the 11's on the stock heads and 5.3 just with nitrous. if Lance can be mid-low 12's on a smaller cam, I can do it with a little more cam and 150 pills... LOL...
