Go ahead and count me in for the 10 second club. I am just a trip to the track from bringing home that elusive timeslip. I only made it to a 1/4 mile track once last year and it was in miserable heat, untuned, with a 1.89 sixty ft and it went 11.34 at 126 mph. I have a little more in it now................

Ron Merx has run 10.77 in his Dakota R/T so 10's have been done already.

By "NBS" I meant 99+ Chevrolet/GMC fullsize. There are dozens of S-10's that are waaay quicker than 11.00, just can't think of any late model 2WD full sizes that have done it.

A picture from the day.

Don't think Angel's SS has ever seen 10s, his truck runs consitant 11.6-7s, but Im not sure since I haven't been to the AMS shop in a while. Jorge might be in the 10s soon since he ran a 12.1 NA on the Feb. 3, and 11.1 on juice last Friday. His motor is forged so it will take a bigger shot, plus "chicken" is crazy and will probably spray the hell out of it. .... also a guy's truck is getting a TT stroker. The engine and turbo kit are being built as we speak. Predicted to run 9s maybe even hi 8s in the 1/4mi. ... if it hooks.

So there should be several GM 2WD NBS trucks in the 10s this year.... I'd be happy if I saw a 14 second time slip for mine Props to all the guys for making this heavy tanks fly.

btw, chicken's truck is running on its 4L60e.

Yes sir, that was the run. Dang it was hot that day !!

Since then I have put on a Mega Squirt, bigger injectors, different torque verter, etc.....I am planning on driving it tonight for the first time in a long time. My local 1/8th mile track opens this Sat and I am hoping to be there.
