Default guestimates on 1/4 time?

im installing some parts in a week or two but wont be able to make it to the track for a long while. can anyone with experience with this stuff guestimate my 1/4 time? 06 5.3 extended cab. ill have gibson shorties, cold air intake, catback flowmaster, hd-2 shift kit, vette servo and sonnax 4th servo, accum. piston, yank tt3000 and a nelson tune, no tq mngmnt. i was thinkin (hoping) high 13's low 14's? what do you guys think? stock wheels and tires w/2 inch drop shackles.

i wouldnt get your hopes up for a high 13, but i think mid to low 14s are achievable - that stall doing most of the work. the shorties, CAI and flowmaster arent really gonna make the biggest difference in the world. the stall, no TM with and the better tune is what is really gonna help you out.

iam guessing a 14.4 at maybe 94mph.

I'm gonna guess a 14.7 since all your mods are basically useless at the track except your tune and converter

Going to the track in that truck and mods in expectations of high 13's - low 14's is a recipe for disappointment. But then again, I could be wrong. A little weight reduction might get you a tenth or so...

Werd, see when I finally have a reason to go to the track after I do: 3200 converter, 4.10's,100 shot, longtubes, efans along with my tr224, tune and exhaust I will just be shooting to break into the 14's so that way if I do it I'll be excited as opposed to being dissapointed and there's a pretty slim chance that combo will run a 15.

EDIT- That's kinda the way I think though.

You would easily be in the 14's w/o N2O with those mods. You could probably even get you a high 13 in there too...

I say expect low 15's and be happy if you break 14's.

I couldn't break 14's for the life of me on the stock tires with cam and bolt on's. I am 4x4 so I would expect you'ld be a little lighter but I was making 320hp too.

What I'm saying is that i was pretty disapointed when I rolled a 15.3 my first time at the track and I had invested a bit more than you. It takes more than parts to run good times and the only true measure is to just get out there and do it.

Good luck and enjoy
