lastnight at gansville the truck was running awesome . bone stock it ran 16.1 at that track . lastnight with 20 psi in the tires, aem brute force intake , tb bypass, and a 3 inch pipe off the y pipe with no muffler , and no tailgate . i ran 15.129 at 90.47 with a 2.29 60 foot . and 9.784 at 73.58 in the 1/8th . i was happy .

but it was a great turnout that night . scream was there with helpful info once again . some dude had a titan running 14.6 and claimed all he had was nitto drag radials and he unbolted his cat-back . im calling BS . also there were some other fullsize guys out there . one with a white silverado a 2000 . cant remember his name though but he was running quick

 

pretty good times. hopefully i'll find my way to gainsville after i move to jaxsonville.

what was the weather like on both trips to the track?

 

big difference lol 52 degrees that night on the rear view mirror and high 80's when it was stock . either way i was 8 tenths faster with just the intake and cooler weather . because i ran 15.9 with just the muffler cut-off . i couldnt believe my 60 foot time was a 2.2 that was awesome

 

well i would say the weather had about 4-5 tenths effect and the rest was mods. i have learned that cooler weather is the biggest mod you can get!!!!

and the cheapest! lol

 

well i want my name to say 15 second truck club now lol . and like a month 14 . so your say my intake shaved 4 tenths off and the weather did the other . hmm plus my truck is broken in now to say . i only had like 1100 miles on before now it has 7900 .

 

well a little could have been from the break in and i would say no more than 2 tenths from the intake, really like 1 tenth. but you never know. no tailgate could have been worth a tenth and the exhaust mod was worth a tenth or so, so yeah i would say it adds up.
and yeah i would like to get mine updated to 13 sec. club, and maybe in my dreams 12 sec. club. lol

 

who knows im happy . ill be depressed when the hot weathers back . but either way im hope to get my tune on before they close the track at the end of year . that and my rollpan . which drops my bumper and hitch and ill take the spare off . and by then ill have a new set of rims and tires as long as all goes to plan . so im hoping for a 14.9
