Hauled my 69 C-10 over to Cordova Dragway this past friday night for a test and tune session...came prepared to make a few end of year hero passes to see what I could get out of the old girl.

stockish 5.3 LSx, 4L80E with a 3200 stall Yank, 275 / 60 / 15 M/T drag radials

Best part of the night was the kid directing traffic in the staging lanes...i asked him to line me up against my buddy's viper...he said something to the effect of "Good luck with THAT..." The viper only ran 12.2.....hehe.

Gotta love a good sleeper pickup.

Yeah that thing is definately a Sleeper, runs really good...I miss my old 69' ..What are the specs on the 5.3/turbo build

I had that happen a few time too. One night, the guys was trying to line me up with another truck and I told him no, I wanted to run the 05 Vette next to me. He was like "you wanta run the Vette ?? ... OK..." I then proceeded to smoke the Vette, it was Awesome!!
