Got beat by a "street car"

I guess I am just used to a different style of racing forum. When some guy (f22) comes in talking smack, I am used to some other guy (Atomic) standing right up and saying "I'm your Huckleberry. Bring that green 8-sec turd down to Steele and we'll take care of that mouth right now." And then Atomic might bring some friends who have HD video cameras & they'll put it up on YouTube before the night is finished.
That's usually what happens on a lot of the other racer forums that I frequent. I guess I'm not used to having to introduce myself, then go through thousands of "hey, you're awesome" and "what are your injectors rated at?" posts before I ask someone if they would be willing to race me. I thought that's what happened in the other forums at PerformanceTrucks. I didn't realize that when you came into the drag racing forum, it was just a place to say "I set a new best." I thought that's what the "Time Slip Database" was for.
What's involved in being a contributing member? How should I go about being constructive in the Drag Racing forum? I was trying to construct some racing, but it's backfired horribly.

Sweet. You will like steele. Thier fri night program is a deal. I was just out your way this past weekend. Chilton co dragway for thier index race. A bad wreck ended our night early . I'll try to remember how to post a pic, and put up my qualify'ing slips. They have my name on them, so no funny buisness. You guys take your smack talk waaayy too seriously. We do talk some shiot, and after go and eat. Laughing and carry'ing on all night. It'll be a good time.

Grudge racers are the ones who drag race but do it exclusively for money. And they either lie about their modifications or dont spill anything at all. There is no motivation for an honest guy to go gamble his money away racing someone who might have a vehicle that is in a whole other class as far as speed goes. ESPECIALLY when all of his modifications and accomplishments are public knowledge. I was called out by a grudge racer for a money race on the street up in phoenix, but when i gladly obliged and he started getting warnings from other forum members to watch his cocky attitude, he quickly changed his mind and wanted a race at the track. He was a sour attitude **** who didnt race for fun, just for money. THAT is a grudge racer. I dont recall Atomic saying he wouldnt race f22. But i assure you he's got better **** to do than go show up a **** talker in another state.
I respect anyone who has built a fast vehicle with or without AC, towing package, etc....but if you choose to be a **** talker about it rather than being at least somewhat humble...i will tell you again to feel free to get the **** out.

I've never raced for money in my life. That's not a lie.
And I'm still trying to figure out where the money came from in this thread. As soon as F22 asked Atomic for a race, Atomic started backpedaling about money... but F22 never mentioned money. Kinda like I never mentioned money.... this is getting weirder with every post... ?

THIS is how we know you do nothing but talk ****, and generally have nothing constructive to add... and ask someone if they got pics of your truck LOL... Its not made up info that people just happen to be pulling straight out of their ***....
I can understand your "style" being different. I really can. but talking **** about the website YOU CHOSE to visit at times for honestly no reason is uncalled for. If you dont agree with how we are complimentary of each other and the fact that we like to figure things out with the help and suggestions of an experienced community then youre welcome to not type our address into your browser. Period.

Okay, now you're just proving yourself an IDIOT.
Since your link was broken, I had to search for myself. Know what I found? I found the thread about the premiere of the Southern Truck Shootout event. It started on October 29, 2010. It was titled "Think Your Truck is Fast? PROVE IT." The event itself was Dec 11, 2010 and there are 16 pages in that thread. The title of the thread (in your estimation, from what I gather) was **** talking itself. But somehow, hundreds of guys got in there within the next 6 weeks and talked all kinds of **** between Ford, Chevy, and your own moderator (SloZ71whatever) even took a swipe at Dodges saying "Nobody cares." I dind't take offense to that... because I knew it was friendly **** TALK. And if you actually take time & read every post of the entire thread, you will find out that a lot of people did NOT explain their whole combination, all of their mods, or anything remotely close to full transparency. They came in there & talked some smack and said "See you in the other lane."
And you know what happened? Hundreds of guys dragged their street trucks to the track, and they ******* DRAG RACED from Friday at sundown until Saturday at sundown. And you know what happened during the course of the weekend? A lot of us met each other face to face for the first time. As Byrdman11 states above, we raced for fun AND for money. Flaco ******* loaded up TWO trucks & drove from Houston, TX to Valdosta, GA just to come out there & break the fastest LS truck on the planet on his 3rd pass. You know what happened after that? He tried to fix it with the help of several people that he didn't know. And even though he almost fixed it, Casey02L whipped the **** out of him with an 8-sec pass that made most of our eyes bulge out of our heads.
And you know what happened after that? When we got home from the event where a lot of us met each other? We posted up photos & videos. When I saw that Bob Pittman had posted up some rockin' photos of my truck, I asked him for some copies. And since I shoot photography for a hobby and (as stated elsewhere in this quagmire) I LIKE TO LEARN, I asked him what kind of camera he uses. Then he emailed me some photos of my truck and we had a few discussions off of this site by email.
You know what happened later on? We ALL met at the track AGAIN a year later and raced at the SECOND ANNUAL SOUTHERN TRUCK SHOOTOUT. Except this time, there were other people who showed up like Foose04 who drove his hooptie down from Charleston, SC and showed some pretty impressive work for such a simple setup. I even got together with Bob Pittman and asked him IN PERSON to send me whatever photos he shot.... which he did as soon as he got home.
Know what's going down in a few months? The 3rd annual Southern Truck Shootout. I intend to get there & see if I can meet some MORE people from PerformanceTrucks.net in person. But I'll already be able to walk over & shake hands with SlowEC and BigKID and BrickRocket and SpeedFab and Fast318Dakota and a whole slew of other members here.
Because I went to the track and I raced against them.
Do you know why that happened?
Because BrickRocket posted a ****-talking thread in the Drag Racing section of PerformanceTrucks.net all the way back in 2010.
So, get your *** off that keyboard & get to the track & find out the truth before you start calling people out. You don't even know.

Yeah, I dont go to the track....
I guess I have no clue.
My bad for the broken link, whatever, it was a link to every single one of your posts you've made since you registered. Showing the fact that you really have no content to your posts but I guess you saw it as something else.
You're right, I don't have a truck that I run anymore, but I guess since I sold it, I sold everything I knew with it. I have a new growing family and feel the need to put my funds elsewhere, but someone like yourself probably doesn't understand that logic, just because I won't "line em up"
The fact still remains, you contribute nothing but crap, ask for pics of your heap, and try to push one event every year which is fine but if I was local, I wouldn't be going simply because folks like yourself tend to frequent those types of events... To much BS for me honestly.
Anyway, Atomic, i really do apologize that your thread went to total hell...
Reply if you must, but I won't be taking part in this thread any longer. It's gotten pretty rediculous.

Well then start your own thread about **** talking again, why can you not understand that not everyone likes your style? You don't see anyone doing this to your threads, all we are asking is if the guy asks you to stop in his thread to stop!
