I am guessing he went to the track with it set at 4000. Not knowing if it will spin or not.

Street tires might be the answer but I was just curious why it was set so high.

youre info is really annoying. Just like how your claim a slick is so much greater then a DR.

05gmc is well aware of what it takes to make his truck run. Also I had mentioned for him to set it that point. His converter flashes to 4k on the spray, is just one reason for it being set where its at.

dont bother replying back cause i dont care to read what **** you got to say.

You shouldn't be spinning with a slick unless the track is junk.

As soon as you leave the truck will squat and then instantly rise, so what you want to do is keep a more constant load and travel out farther.

I'm pretty sure a slick IS a lot better for this guy. A slick will hook better and be more consistent doing so. A radial (with the right suspension, etc) will be faster.

Just put some CalTracs on it and call it a day

His comment was from another thread. He can't get over the fact that a slick is easier and better then a radial in most every situation.

over sizing your slick is a bandaid for a suspension that needs setup or worked.

no your just a hack and shouldnt be giving anyone info with what you provide on this site.

05gmc isnt some young kid that is new to racing so giving him your opinion without knowing his whole entire setup is worthless.

This truck with some tweaks and nice weather will be deep 11s high 10s
