Default PR&D 383 Hemi Stroker

PR&D (AKA The Hemi Shop) Built me a 383 Cubic Inch Hemi based off the 5.7 block.

Custom CP Pistons (Ceramic Coated Tops/Teflon Coated Skirts)
Carrillo Rods
Off Set Ground Forged 6.1 Crank
ARP Main Studs

After a 1000 Mile Breakin I took the truck to the track.



My goal is to have an N/A 11 sec daily driver.

Where the oil filter is located it would seem like it would be a PITA to change the oil and not get oil everywhere. What do you need to do to get those extra couple of tenths?

I do the 1 gal zip lock bag method and I'm able to pull the filter off with minimal mess.

What do you need to do to get those extra couple of tenths?
3 Things

1. Exhaust Modification: Right now I have 2.5" Collectors and exhaust tubing. I plan on chopping off my collectors and welding a 3" SS pipe about 12" long on either side. Then Run and Aluminized Tubing Pacesetter 3" tubing. Increase in diameter tubing will help the Cubic Inches Breath Better

2. Bigger Cam: The cam that I originaly chose is a bit mild for the displacement. As soon as "Real Tuning" is available for us Hemi Truck Guys, we will be able to run 220 and 230 duration cams. That will move my Power Band up in the higher RPM Band.

3. 6800-7000 Rev Limiter: Right now I can only rev it up to 6300 with Superschips. That means my shift points are maxed out at 6200-6100-6050 thru the 1-2-3 shift. A higher rev limiter will surely work great in combination with a bigger cam.
