Went to Super Chevy Show this weekend, track was pretty good but i couldnt hook for nothing. Most all of my 60's were 1.7x's... Also the slicks arnt in awesome shape either. It hooked OK twice and it felt badass!!
Went like this:
Saturday results
First pass - 2nd pass - 3rd pass - 4th pass
1.78 ------- 1.67 ------ 1.68 ----- 1.76
7.94 ------ 7.573 ----- 7.602 ---- 7.888
88.60 ----- 90.62 ----- 90.07 ---- 88.69
12.372 --- 11.924 ---- 11.986 --- 12.323
110.81 --- 113.00 ---- 111.89 --- 110.49
Sunday (today all i had were 1.76 and 1.78)
Last weekend i went to test on Sunday! and i ran 4 passes 1.69 - 1.64 - 1.70 - 1.69. So as you can see i hooked awesome 1 time, all the rest were as bad as this weekend. Since i need new slicks i think im going to run a 29" and swap to the 4.56 gear.

nice meeting you man, we will have to meet back up down there one day!! Ohh and sorry i didnt come back up there, they had me cooking and all that junk.
Im not sure when ill go bigger on the cam or even if i will at this point.
I have some land i need to get cleared so i can live on it, and i think i wont be buying many parts for a while

i have a LS1 with 228R-112 cam, Pacesetter LT's, Powerbond Underdrive pulley, Volant CAI, 4" ram air through pass. tow hook hole, Fast 90/LS2 TB, Home ported LS6 heads milled .010 and cometic .040 gaskets, Stock tranny with HD-2 shift kit and servos, TCI Competition 3800 stall, 4.10's and trutrac. Ohh and a mail order Nelson Tune

Nice times man. That is moving out. Someone was telling me at work about you. They never seen my truck before but heard I was gonna be there and thought it was me. I was hoping to go but didn't get my caltracs on and still no tires yet. Looks like it's time for you to invest in a set of bars too! That alone would probably help you .1-.2.

ap2002 - they didnt have the scales working and a guy was parking his car on them between rounds to keep it out of the dirt and dust
txsilverado - before the fast 90/ls2 tb combo, volant, heads, and ram air i was running 12.70's and the occansional 12.6x
