mph doesnt make a difference to me really, et matters. i have run 4-5 mpg faster the same night with a slower et.... i am on 275/60 street tires and an open diff, so your mathematical, statistical judgements of my time/ mph really amuse me.

look at the slip once again, one race was against a 240sx with an ls1/6 speed.... he ran .6 faster than me, but 2 mph slower than me, on the same pass. he must be lying too, or maybe the computer was off???? seriously dude, you need more track time.

the only time et/mph will be consistent is on slicks or DR's, i just cant do it on street tires.

 

Please don't feed me that "pedaling" crap....you Pulled 2.19x 60's both passes... not consistent? ETing within 4 thousanths isn't consistent? Your slips is about as consistent as they come so you saying "pedaling" means nothing.

And remember your 1/8th is computer generated! Mine is mathmatically proven showing your computer generated 1/8th mile is off either on the mph or et according to your 60ft!

 

Good deal man, as stated in the title you are getting quicker and thats all that counts. The gears will really wake it up if you get traction.


Speaking of ET's and MPH, I was watching a repeat top fuel race the other day and had to laugh when I seen a 6.8 ET @ 98 MPH thats just nuts.... I think he pretty much went WO for a sec then coasted after roasting the tires.

 

lots of things play a factor in mph.... but i could care less, i appreciate the compliment! the ups tracking said the gears were delivered today, so i need to get em in there!


hopefully i will be content for a while longer with the new rear setup. this going fast is way too addictive!!
