Well went to the track today and got a new PB. Although not by much but still a new PB. Ran a total of 6 times, 3 of those were better than my previous PB. The other three times were either in 2WD or I didnt stall up enough.
Temps were steady at 68*, humidity around 65-66% and pressure at 30.21in/hg. DA of around 820'. Previous best time was a 10.17 @ 69.25.
Heres my best three runs of the day in the order I ran them.
1st run- 2.313 60", 6.570 330', 1/8 10.134 @ 69.06
2nd run (new best) - 2.306 60', 6.567 330', 1/8 10.131 @ 69.06
3rd run - 2.318 60', 6.590 330', 1/8 10.165 @ 68.92
I dont know how much the weather played a factor in the new times but I did switch from my 285/50-20 summer wheel/tire combo to my winter 265/60-18 combo. I also only pushed the gas down as far as it took to reach full stall instead of holding it down all the way. I think this is where Ill leave off for the winter and call it a consistant 10.2-10.3 truck IN 4WD.
The next time I update this thread with times wont be untill I get my turbo kit on and Im hoping to hit LOW 8s on 8-10psi in 4WD as well.

Well I'm updating this a little early because come to find out, I've been dropping considerable fuel pressure from 4500+ for who knows how long. I met up with Justin yesterday for a quick update tune and he noticed this while doing a quick run. Looks like I could have been in the 9s had I figured that out sooner! Oh well, time to install my new walbro and patiently wait till the track opens up again.

Thanks man
And to answer your PM, dont forget that these are all 1/8mi times. No turbo on yet, and with fuel pressure dropping like a rock from 4500rpm and up. Efans/Truetrac/fuel pump are all going on sometime in January. Hoping for somewhere around 9.90-9.95 when that is done.
REALLY hoping for somewhere around 8.00 on 10psi when I get the 70mm put on.

Now for tonights results. Im happy and kind of dissapointed, but did get a new PB! It was the one TnT night out of the month where they have the big cars and lines where really long tonight, lots of idling. Ran the truck in 4WD all passes (1/8th mile) and had my bigger wheels and tires on instead of my smaller winter tires (going to try next time I go). But from my old times with the bigger wheels/tires I was happy!
Old times with big wheels/tires were 10.2-10.35 (overall best with small tires was 10.13)
2 out of 3 of tonights times(with big tires) are OVERALL PBs...
1st was a 10.17, 2nd was 10.12, and 3rd (new PB) 10.11
Weather at the time of my best run was 54*F, 29.93in/hg, and 84% humidty for a DA of around 200ft.
Pretty happy but will try the smaller tires sometime again soon and on a night where I can pull right up and run without waiting. REALLY want to get past that 9.99 mark.

Oh not to mention, pulling the holeshot on 8/9 second cars and making them catch up is fun lol.
