From Gateway International Raceway Drag Racing Manager Rich Schaefer at 1:15 PM on Monday, August 2nd, 2010:
The National Weather Service has issued a forecast for Madison, IL on Tuesday, August 3 of 101 degrees Fahrenheit and heat indexes exceeding 110 degrees. In accordance with Gateway Raceway policies, this is an automatic cancellation of tomorrow night’s drag racing event. Due to preparations for this weekend’s ADRL Gateway Drags, the event will not be rescheduled.
