Update. So swap on truck is done (v6-LQ4) To update my question .I removed the front sway bar and truck is ok not great ok normal driving no real difference just more weight up front. Stock v6 springs up front and no sway bar with HD Bilstiens shocks. The weight transfer is noticeable feels like my Camaro now. Does it help traction not a clue cant hook. Good removal for track truck. FYI truck has never had this much power so your results may differ.

This thread needs to die, or I'm going to have my swaybar sitting in the junk pile. Im reluctant to remove it, because I have lifetime warranty receipts for the sway bar end links from when I rebuilt the front suspension. It would be sad to have a lifetime warranty on parts sitting in the junk pile
Anyone weighed the swaybar, mounts, and end links?

I couldn't stand when I had my sway bar off. Soo much body roll. Feels like the truck wanted to roll over. I'm surprised at all these pros about removing it. Go down a bumpy road without it and tell me how it feels. May change ur mind

I took it off my last truck which was a 2wd close to stock height, and the only time i noticed the body roll was doing some donuts or attempting to "drift" a little..
But i would say those are some severe roll situations, other than that i didnt notice it was gone and i think it helped let the front end raise easier at the track imo..
Is it worth the hassle to take it off and put it on every time you go to the track with a street/DD truck, probably not..
I actually just rem i still do have the bar from my last truck sitting in my junk pile in the garage, who wants to buy it..?lol

If I remember correctly, it was just over 40lbs
