First time out with truck local 1/8.. Few questions
#1
Sup guys took my truck out for the time in awhile to local 1/8 and have a few questions about my run..
My times were a 9.7 @76 with a 2.5 60ft and best was a 9.3787 @77.12 with a 2.27 60ft.. These times were ran on 22" ss replicas and tire psi dropped to 25.. Also elevation might have been over 3500+
Mod list:
Ly6 6.0 bored over .30 to a 370
Forged wiesco 10:1 compression pistons
Forged eagle rods
Milled l92 heads .025
FBO
Cam 224/236
Circle d 3500-3700 stall
This is in a crew cab short bed, was wondering if my times are high and mph low for mods I have? Also was leaving at 2000 letting off a bit to avoid spinning.. Any ideas what truck could possibly run?

Im not seeing anything about gears so im guessing traction and gears are killing you. I have some simular mods as you but your prob making a little more power I ran 8.88 at 82 with a 2.15 60'. On oem 20's and stock converter.

I have 3.73 gears sorry didn't notice I didn't put it in. I took truck again to local track and ran a 8.9 with 2.010 60ft @78.11 with 28x10-17 Hoosier slicks I feel I could of pulled more out of it but can't seem to find the sweet spot on launch

You are closer to where I would expect now. You truck is on the heavy side with heavy wheels, traction needed, and not the best gears unless you do a lot of highway driving. The slicks really helped your 60' a ton. A little spray would go a very very long way in your case.

I think somethings up for sure i dont know how much altitude comes into play. My truck has prob a little less power and less weight i ran a 13.67 at 101 with a 2.15 60 foot time
