Kil kare finally opened and it wasn't raining. Made the 1 hr drive and the truck survived the trip. Bad part is there were hundreds of cars out, so only got two passes. Track is bad *** btw. 1st pass left of idle to get a feel for it and ran a 12.3 at 121. tried the 2 step at 2500rpm and low boost and got 12.2 at 115. mph shows a lot of promise. maybe next time I might get more than 2 passes. not bad for 1st time out on 12# w/ little 4.8. in a couple wks will try some 16# and higher 2 step passes. it will do 10's I think w/ some tweeks. 60 ft is awlful 2.0. not building enough boost off the line.

Congrats, real nice mph. Atleast you know you got solid 11s in it with a better 60ft, and you dont need to much better at that. Thats what i would like see out of my build.

 

would like to get down to a 1.6-1.7 60ft and 7.0sec range in the 1/8. my 1/8 mile was in the low 8's. lol once she gets going she moves on pretty good. traction is no problem, just need to get the boost sooner. track hooks awesome!!

you lost 6mph leaving on more boost!?

 

my 60ft was .2 better but still bad. I shifted into 3rd gear at 6000rpm in the 2nd run compared to 6500 in the 1st. I think that cost a lot of mph. its going to take some passes for the driver and truck to improve.

thanks Tim, have a lot of work to do to get it where I want it. My boy was all excited and had to ****, lol. Kil Kare is in Xenia off rt35, 20minutes W of 71. the new surface is smooth as silk and all the high hp cars had no problems getting hooked up.

 

Yeah bud , to be clear I meant slow outta the hole for the reason that once you get her spooled up better from a dig she is really gonna be a rocket !!!!!

Def looks like a 10 sec truck to me .

I'm going to have to make a trip to Xenia before seaon end , sounds like a fun track .
