As for skeets truck, I've been there about 95% of the times it's gone down the track and we haven't made a really clean pass with the truck tuned up 100%.... but on the stock shortblock 6L with LS3 heads and FAST intake it was doing very consistent low 11's (on a few different tracks) and went some 10.5's on a 100 shot off a plate kit.

I've seen this truck run these numbers and more than once pull right off the return road and hit the hwy and drive a few hours home.... We've had to load other broken trucks on his trailer and him drive it several times... Each time he didn't mind... Because it's a street truck, not a race truck trailer queen
thanks Ben, the stock shortblock now sits on a stand and NO shes not hurt a 408 transplant has taken her spot, by the way we're shooting for mid + 10s on this setup in decent weather, we all have our differences in street trucks, personally its your own preference. ive been doing nothing but reading about turbo's and trying to keep myself from going that way BUT it seems like it might just happen sometime later next year

SVT ya'll need to come down here where Ben and myself live ( golden triangle bmt. port arthur, orange ) cause i yet to see a lightning go 11s ok maybe one and he got pissed when he lost to a NA stock shortblock motor . BUT i will speak for them as they told me they were pretty much stock with a pulley and cams . how much do those truck weight anyway? seems like the really fast ones are pretty dang light no?

i'll say this, you can damn near make any truck streetable these days by adjusting the tune or pretty much staying out of boost, specially on a turbo truck, NA is a different story but if you can put up with the hard hitting cam and big stall and rough idle she'll cruise like a kitten oh yeah and swipe a illegal inspecton sticker lol

I'll see you THAT video and raise you this one of my buddy kurts. Probably about 2k lbs heavier, pulling the wheels and still got room in the back for the kids!
