for chevy, it doesn't take much to get 12's n/a. there's a handful doing it already and plenty more just knocking on it's door. gook luck with your times!

brad has his stall installed with some really fat drag radials on a 12 inch wide rim.

Yep, 12s easy.....11s not so easy. I'm going to shoot for 11s on motor this year. Whatever it takes.

Heh, I have a set of those slicks Brad has, just trying to hunt down a place to make me some rims. I have a 2800 stall converter on the way too, which should greatly help me off the line. If I could get the 60' that Bluecajun get's I'd knock almost a full second off my et, right now about the best I can do is a 2.2 60' :\

The Wood Hauler is hoping for a 11.9x with his new setup also.......we'll see soon if it gets there. It's a rcsb 408 w/ 233/239 .595/.603, ported 6.0l heads, and bolt on's. I think he will be knocking on the door.

brad is doing a lot more than just a stall and slicks but its not that we aren't making the power to be in the 12's we just lack computer and tranny control. thats y the chevy's are having and easier time. just wait until HP tuners get the hemi edit out. then it will level the playing field. torque management is kicking our asses. i love seeing fast trucks tho wether they are fords, chevys or dodges. beating a sports car in your daily driver truck is just priceless. specially when your beating vette's and expensive cars cause they don't know how to react to it right coltsteele??

Should have no trouble getting those 11s on motor with that setup. I'm going to try my hardest to do it with a cam/heads stock bore/internal 6.0L. I've definately got to step up to a larger cam and better heads. My 12.40 was on a mail order tune and the crappy TCI 3000. Maybe the better tune and the fuddle 3800 will get me closer.
