Fastest Ext cab?
 

Who is the fastest extended cab? I know my 6.69@102 puts me up there on the list but not sure if anybody has gone faster this year. I guess my truck would run right around 10.50 in the 1/4 if there was one around here to run on. I really hope I can break into the 9's next year but its going to be tough.

Mitch was like 6.5 or 6.6 at around 109 I think

Tyler (dirt track racer81) ran 10.64 a few weeks back. He is definitly close to the top of the list

I think you are right. I think Mitch might be the fastest by .04 and I might be 2nd but I'm not sure.

Tyler ran 6.84@102 in his video. I think he has a lot more left in it since he is 800lbs lighter than me. If he gets his 60' down he will be in the low 10's for sure.

Mitch wouldve been in the 9s last weekend if he hadnt of melted the head the weekend before.

You guys are going to be breakin 9s before I do.. It'll be next spring when the track opens back up for me to try out some more stuff..

If all goes well ill be back at the 1/8th thanksgiving weekend then I might venture up to the 1/4 sometime soon after that to see what happens

I'm just talking about my truck.... If you're faster then good for you, I don't concern my self with all the "records" and what not. It's fun to go back and forth with my friends but unless you're racing in a particular class with particular rules you can't really say who has the fastest this or that IMP

I'm not trying to start anything. Just trying to see who else are pushing these setups. Since I will never catch Jarrett I figured I would have to compare my truck to ext cabs to feel better. LOL

I went 10.9 @ 126 spinning in a 2006 ext cab 5040 race weight with my 2x 12s and speaker box lol! On 15#s wastegate we haven't used the AMS yet..

that was a sick run! i was no where near expecting that ecsb to run those times, when i turned my back and it launched i could hear and see the tires slipping/spinning and the turbo spooling like no other ;) sweet run nonetheless!! congrats on the times, get it to hook and youre golden!

Thanks bro, yeah the new M9 w/ strange internals should get here hopefully in about 1 month. That and a ladder bar setup should help me with my traction issues..

It has a lot more in it and hopefully it will be ready for October madness!

Ya, I remember seeing some ext cab run a solid 9 on some damn 20s with some crazy paint job! Made it look easy....

That's some impressive mph. Get your 60' down and you will be running low 10's.

We kept blowing off the tires, we will be using the AMS real soon.

408ci with PT94, 15 psi, 4200ish raceweight, and what looks like 4wd, yep it does look a little too easy and should be with that setup..:jest:

That's what I was thinking. My truck is 5,600lbs+ on the street and around 5,200lbs at the track. I would probably be running 9's too if I could lose 1,000lbs.

Lol yeah I'm going to out it on a bit of a diet.
Race seats, fuel cell and that should be it..
We're still in low boost it has a whole lot more in it..
But like I say all the time it's a street truck not a track truck lol!

I think mine would have went 10s. Best was 11.4@125ish? But I couldn't leave on much power and the 60 ft was in the high 1.8s. The problem was the big turbine housing and converter combo didn't work right together. Didn't really hit good power till like 100ft out then it would scream. I'm sure whoever was at Lena track that day for the pt meet can remember that.

Yes... it was like watching a stock Civic leave then it come alive about 300' out haha. More like a 3/16 mile racing.

1.8 isnt hhoorriibbllee.... i just broke out of the 1.7s towards the end of last season

Not that I know of. I'm shooting to go alot faster next spring but I won't be going this fast.

if i ever decide to work on my truck again and get it back together i dont think high 9s is out of the question. and i KNOW high 130s isnt! :D
