Not trying to be a dick or anything... but I'm not sure why someone would want to put money in to a 4.8 for the "4.8 NA record"???

Why not spend just as much and do a 6.0 swap and go just as fast with more potential?

And what's with all the record threads LOL... We should make a sticky for each in the drag racing section and keep all the record passes and discussion in there.

 

i agree 100%. the 4.8 is the bastard motor of GM IMO they shoulda done away with it back in 2000.

and i was looking for a sticky with some of the answers that would be a good idea with everything from long beds to short beds to 4 doors trucks

I've got a nitrous kit with everything you need for CHEAP... you wont be able to put to gether a kit for the price anywherre else. I can guarantee that.
