Default ET street question

Looking at possibly getting some stickier tires, set of four to go on my 4x4. I've narrowed it down to either the MT ET Street or the M&H Racemaster Drag Radial.

I believe that the MT is lighter than the M&H. I'm waiting for a response from M&H to verify. While probably lighter, the MT is not a radial(unless I'm wrong).

So my question is this..... Has anyone ran 4 MT ET streets on their 4x4, and how did it handle?

Thanks guys,
Roger

These? (24 lbs.)

Or these? (28.5 lbs.)

Or these? (26 lbs.)

I'm no expert.. But why would you buy 4, when all you would need is 2 10'' slicks..

I ran them Et streets and totally roasted them about 20 ft out of the hole.. I am going to go with hoosiers next time... My vote goes to hoosiers..

You REALLY have to heat up those ET streets to hook well. I literally have to burn them for at least 10 seconds to get them hot enough so they don't spin, and I have never even launched hard. Once they're hot though, they hook pretty well. I don't like dropping to like 5 psi like some crazies do lol. High speed is a little to squirrely for my taste when you drop tire pressure that low..

How are you guys getting past tech without c-clip eliminators and long wheel studs with slicks on? Oh, and the driveshaft loop thing?

I have never been even asked about C clip elims, or asked to pull my caps to check for studs, unless your talking about studding the beads. As far as loops I have 2 of them in my truck, up front and in the back

The ET streets are a DOT tire.. The hoosier are not.. Both are bias tires..

Not gonna lie, tech at my local track sucks. They don't notice my turbo OR blower.
