Finally got to a dyno Jet and adjusted timing for e85. Between motor finally being broken in and adjusting a hair timing, she gained about 15 to 20 hp and tq. Final was 495/438 tq.
No big gain... but it will make up for the 10lb I put on this year.
I have added dual adjust QA1' s to help with that unload issue someone on here spotted and I bought a US Shift Tranny controller. I can't say enough good things about that. It is a totally new truck to drive with the big cam.Shifts are spot on with a simple adjust on a computer and quick flash.

That's a nice looking curve. It's still going at 6600, do you have the valve train to take it higher to see where it starts falling off?

Just LS rockers with trunion kit, LS7 lifters, AFR heads with their springs.
I ran her to 6800 and still it felt strong. Pete said the cam was designed for 6600. He was surprised it keeps on going.

Pushrod rigidity, spring force and preload on the lifters are going to factor into your valvetrain stability considering the lighter stock rockers (less weight on the tip over the valve). Being the line doesn't start getting wavy at 6600, I bet it will go a few hundred more rpm.

I haven't added any power or done much drag racing lately. Finally go it in the 6's last year but have been spending more time on the front suspension trying to make it handle for autocross and road courses.

I have Comp pushrods and preload was 80 on the stock afr springs. I will take it to 68 and see what kind of shift rpm drop I get.
Autocross,...
That should be fun.

Awesome power. I think it was me who noticed it unloads and spins a little. I hope the shocks help!

What does the stand alone controller do that you couldn't do with the factory ECU?

As I watch now I can see it. You picked it right out. Thanks.

Working on a rental now so I can adjust the shocks for launch. I don't want to run the entire track for an adjustment each time. It may take a few tries to dial in.

Actually make it shift as desired...lol
Same problem with 2 different transmissions...it would shift at 23-28 mph, go to second...then drop back to first. I had 2 different tuners try to figure out the issue at the track.

I went to Bowling Green last September and it was short shifting at (if I remember right) 3800 rpm then at 5200 rpm instead of 6800 I was needing. That made me run right near 12.0 et. Packed it up and went home.
