Most tracks will have a website and provide a weather update or link. Here's Famoso and their weather link(just search by date for history); http://www.famosoraceway.com/weather.htm

Congrats again, that's riding out on motor!
I don't see how your truck can be that heavy, especially with an aluminum block LS.

At 4500lb race weight that thing must be fairly well gutted out. I run mine the same way I drive it on the street and my truck weighs in at 5350lbs. My truck isn't all that much heavier than a ECSB. I know my friends RCSB with weight reduction mods weighed in @ 4800lbs no driver.
My truck, which is a 2wd ECSB, weighed 4840 yesterday at the dump, with the spare, bumper, tailgate, etc. and over a half of a tank of gas...and that is with my 200lb *** in it. My truck empty, or at least low on gas, prob. goes about 4600 with the spare, tailgate, rear bumper, etc. I would think that a roll pan, and losing the spare would be worth 100lbs.

BTW, badass runs! Congrats!

F**K! I was supposed to race friday but I had to go to a wedding. Dammit . I'm building a 408 through Precision Speed & Machine and it would have been cool to hear a Stroked ex. cab in person. Where is your shop located? Not many LSX specialty shops around here.

Oh yeah, great run!

Here's my post in the "weights" thread....

In race trim (< 1/2 tank, 16's, full bottle) the truck weighed exaclty 4600 #'s with me in it, so that's 4300 w/o driver.

Your truck is obviously 2wd. Do you have power anything in it?
