if you r going to run it in 4 hi i would put them just a little lower than u run them on the street if you r going to try and hook in 2 wd then i would start at 20 lbs and yes the bigger the rim it will be different it will not have as much side wall to wrinkle(the less side wall the tighter = harder to hook)

I think everyones reccomendation of around 20 psi to start is a good move. I always run between 18-22, depending on track condition. Best on the DR was 1.54 sixty foot time if I rolled out a couple feet before planting my foot to the floor.

I cut a 1.71 60' with 315/60r15's at 20psi. No other traction aids. My 60's were improving as the day went on but ended up going home before i got into the 1.6x

Thanks alot for all the input guys. I think I'll try a 2WD launch at 20 psi, just for ***** & giggles. I might work from there depending on how it goes. If it's a total fail, then I'll go to 30 psi on a 4x4 launch, and work from that starting point. I really appreciate everyone's input on the subject though. It's gonna save me from second guessing myself.

I recieved the tires today, and got them on the truck. Not sure about the look yet, going from a 32" tire to a 28" tire is giving me a HUGE fender gap. So far I'm not a fan, but maybe it'll grow on me.
