Default Does rake/stance affect how well a vehicle launches?

I keep having in mind 2 different images when I think of this. 1.) An old school gasser. 2.) Some ridiculiousy raked "muscle car"

Obviously it affects how well a vehicle hooks, but to how much degree? Do us truck guys have any to gain from this? My truck is at stock height right now with about 3 feet of rake in it.

3 feet? I must assume you mean 3 inches.

What kind of 60 ft. times are you cutting? If you are cutting 2.0 then I don't think stance will have much to do with it. The lower you go the more it may come into play.
