Congrats on the times!! You really have that SS moving.

I would think that a 125 shot would net you a bit more though. Were you experiencing any belt slip in the upper rpm range?

no joe and i fixed the belt slip i was having . but we did max out the 2bar compltely.

the biggest problem was the converter i have is way too loose and is flashing to almost 5k rpms. so its being pulled and rebuilt now.

so i should be able to drop some et off it pretty easily and possibly pick up some mph too.

wow what size converter was it...i was hoping you would make 10's man...how long will you be down for? might try hitting the track at night also...let the track cool down some...how did the front end feel with it strapped? did it seem like it helped?

it was a 9.5 and its already on its way back so ill be down a week or so which is no biggie.

the problem with hitting the track at night is you need a track that is open at night, the closest one is about 2 hrs away. my next attempt will be there . some time in july depending on weather. with a better d/a and converter 10's are attainable.

also the straps seem to help weigh transfer alot but i was only cutting high 1.7x 60fts so the real test will be with the new converter. i know i had no wheel spin at all
