It was fixed, my AFR came back to roughly 12.5-12.7 area thru the run. I just went to the local 1/8 mile track.

1) new issue is heat from these new SS headers. My engine compartment is over 40 degrees hotter than when running the ceramic coated headers. My AIT will hit 144 degrees until I am thru first gear. Going to pull them and get em' coated while I deal with #2 below.

2) just blew a head gasket and I'm blowing white smoke. I have been getting water in my Vacuum pump catch can for a month. It would produce 8oz a week. I thought it was just this Florida hot to cold weather creating condensation. NOT!!!!
Hope to rip them off today. She actually hydrolocked in the driveway. I thought the battery was low and finally got it cranked on the 4th try. Hopefully I didn't bend a valve or worse a rod when it fired up. I will take the heads to Pete next weekend to go thru them while they are off.

That sucks!, hope the block is ok and you can replace a few pistons to keep cost down.

Yeah I was surprised for 14k on the motor. But of course, I suspect the shinny one was getting water for a month so that cleaned it up quite a bit.

TSP found my file and can sell me new pistons, but they only come in a pack of 4 from Diamond. Thinking of just replacing them all at that point. I need to pull and strip the block to look for cracks.
