Chained down the front of THE BEAST!

I measured from the lower shock mount to the upper shock mount as it sits. Then I subtracted 3" and came up with a 12" strap needed. Im about 1/2" over stock ride height.
I keep them snug when driving around town and tighten them when I go to the track.

Nice straps/install, I will have to try this at the track this summer.
BTW looks like you need to decrank your keys a bit, those CV angles dont look too flat. Im paranoid about flat CV's cuz when i had cranked keys in my Dmax i broke tie rods twice and it launched terrible.
Not saying you have this issue but flatter the better.

Looks like the chains worked!!!!!!!!!!!!
My car did ok, a little slower than last time. But my truck........

I was hoping so bad to break into the 12s. Hell I would have been ecstatic with a 12.8!
My previous best run was:
60 ft 1.9972
330 ft 5.4487
1/8 8.3656
1/8 84.54 mph
On the left is my 4,250 lb bolt on convertible SS
On the right is 6,015 lb turbo Escalade ESV

Yeah, my niece got some but it's pretty crappy. A bunch of my friends were there and got video, I hope theirs is better. My buddy that was driving my Camaro put his Go Pro Hero 2 on my trunk pointing at the truck so I am thinking that is going to be the best video out of all!
They should be loaded up by tomorrow.
