Default Cam Only 5.3 Fastest Truck Rules

I know that Cajun and V8 currently reign at the top of the list but what, are the limitations for it. I know that over on tech their Cam Only guys can run aftermarket intakes and TB's as well as any cam and bolt-ons but are limited to stock heads and rotating assy. I was just wondering if there was anything else I might be overlooking because I am building Tan327's truck to compete for the title of fastest Cam only 5.3. Thanks in advance guys.

Nobody has set an actual precedent for strict rules that I am aware of.

I vote for stock longblock (except for cam of course), D.O.T. approved slicks or Drag Radials, any and all bolt-on are cool, and No limitations on stall and gears, and of course no power adders.

We're just talking about keeping the stock heads, no porting or anything like that just the necessities for the cam to function properly....springs, retainers, rockers would be o.k. in my book too.

I'd call cam only: Cam, Lifters, Pushrods, Valvesprings, Retainers, and Locks
