Yeah it's a vacuum pump for excessive crank case pressure. What you are looking at is the regulator.
I was blowing oil out of the dip stick tube at the top of each gear (6k). Works great. I have since moved the vented catch can and adjusted the lines a little.

I did a cold compression test a couple weeks ago while changing headers. I was worried about the rings but had 198 low and 218 high for min\max compression so I guess everything is fine. This is year 4 on the motor and it is still running great.

Strokers can run great if maintained.

Mine was built in 2008 as well. I am changing my intake and hope to be able to get to the track sometime late spring.

I will be happy if I am within 4 tenths of you. Your truck flies!

I think Screams truck is a little heavier than mine. He also added the heavy leather seats...but they look damn good. I always loved the look of that truck.

Yea , I wish mine ran NA like Bob's too. Still waiting for you to put the juice to it................come on , go for it. Have fun , wish it was warm enough here to go race. I'm going to run a NA run once when I get the heads and new intake back. See if I can shave a few 10ths off.

Nah..no Juice yet. Still playing with little stuff this year trying to lower that ET a little more.

I'm having a trans issue now. Just refreshed it and added a B&M shift kit (no kit previously). It is launching in 1st gear till it hits 8 mph, then shifts to second till 28mph, then drops back into first till 58mph, shifts to second again and runs fine the rest of the track.

Something is telling it to shift at 8mph ?? No changes except the added shift kit. Line pressure issue ??? .I had a tuner with me and he couldn't figure it out

Sounds like a line pressure issue or a spring isn't keeping a check ball in place or something.

I "think" my truck weighs like 4300 or 4400lbs. I am going to weigh it soon.
