Default Any real 20" DR experience?

I hate having to switch to my 275/60/15 et streets every time I go to the track. I've got my suspeions setup quite well as I can even dead hook on the street. I'm wanting to switch to nt05r or mt et street 2 in the wide 20" size. Anyone have track experience with them? I just know I'll be really pissed if I spend $700 on rear tires and they don't work. Hoping going from 275-315 will make up for a little bit less sidewall.

The 555r did decent on a buddies supercharged tbss. It hooked great but the truck was only pulling a 1.9 60'. I would go w the mt if they offer a 20" tire.

Thanks for the input! I had the 305/35/20 mickeys on my tbss cutting 1.6s but the weight transfer is 100x better in them. All the reviews say they are the best so that's what I will try probably

Really?! Read a lot of good things about them but none on a truck. Thanks for the info! Was this on one of your high HP setups? Didn't you have 555r on one of them?

I had every intention of running 20" DR's when I was going to convert my truck to AWD. I got some used 275 NT05's and some 315 NT05R's, but never decided to go the AWD route. I got them with decent tread to try out in case I didn't like them. I would make a good deal to someone, but I know shipping would be bad. Where are you located?

Nto5r lasted 1600miles and almost 700$ for nothing

Had them on my ls2 making over 800 rwhp

Lit them up for 660' on a 1/8 miletrack....everygear change would be smoke show

Throw them on a Greyhound. You would be surprised how cheap it can be. I shipped a set of 17" tires a while back and it was in the $40ish range.
