Well aparently it was my imagination and there's no knock. Matter of fact it was a bit rich so a little tweaking and I was on my way. I guess I have no excuses left

DAMN you need HPTuners, scan that crap, ease your mind and blow it up....lol Well hopfuly not the last part, but better safe than sorry....

I must say you have a lot more control than I do. If I were you this last weekend, I think I would have had another blown engine under my belt.......


I MIGHT have got a 11 sec slip though j/k

I'm sure the fact that you're a 100lbs less than me would have helped
Rick@Synergy is going to have another group sale of HPT and I'm committed this time. I hate to spend the $ on it but at least I will be able to really see what's going on.
We were talking about the Aeroforce scan gages at the gtg but HPT ends up costing less and doing more in the long run so that's that. + I think I've talked the wife into helping pay for it for an early Christmas present

Get HPT. IMO the only place to tune a truck is as its driven. Yeah a dyno can get you started but I'm not convinced that a dyno can simulate all the nuiances of load, rpm etc... that you will see on the track and street and you will never be caught in the circle of "was that knock?"

Done deal. We tune the major mods on the dyno but most of my tuning is done while driving. We spend and hour here and an hour there dialing in but obviously having hpt and logging will benefit me greatly. Plus I like the idea of being able to load a more aggressivetune for the track
