Hence you not wanting to go to the big *** 1st of the 80e. My best 1/8th is 7.67 which got me the 12.02 and I have the 4.1's but the painful 80e first gear. Soooo maybe I am in need of one more size change... ***** that, 4wd, got to do both sets. $$$$.

Get some shorter tires on there Bill, pop that 11 cherry.

Hey, you got some ***** staying it it with audible knock (being blown and sprayed)!!!.
Nice work man. That motor is one stout power plant no doubt.
A little tweak of the tune should do it.

No, just meth but I'm going to talk to Rick about that.

I've beeb think more about swapping up to 4.10's which is what I should've done originally, but I'm going to have to wait a bit on this. I agree the 60's would come down and I'd be crossing the traps deeper into 3rd.

Yup, 29" tires will do the same thing for me as a gear swap so that might be the answer. Although 4 light wheels and tires will cost more than the swap

Thanks everybody and don't relax too much Dewey and KY, I'm still working on it!

TRUST ME man, i feel your pain, SO CLOSE yet so far away from a 11sec pass. I get so freakin frustrated because my local track does such shitty track prep so get no traction or i would have hit an 11 already. Keep trying man, we'll get there eventually.

If I had it to do over I would do 4.56's Debated it hard when I went with the 4.10's. I've recently thought about a set of light 16's with DR's but damn expensive and I need to get some big brakes going so that kills that. I'll just have to make some more HP somewhere

You dont think 4.56's would be too much?? I am looking for a 14 bolts and was thinking 4.10's would be plenty...

Bill you have 3.73's????/ holly crap,,,, I'll trade ya....

I though you'd nail the 11's for sure, The truck sure was lookin like it was ready, good launches and the mph.....

I think you could have ran the 11.xx if I was driving....

I couldn't say how long the 5.3 would last with me driving though.....

As long as you don't mind loosing some MPG on the interstate and highway, not to much IMO. I'm only pulling about 5200 rpm when I cross the line now. They would be fun as hell cruising around. Cons would be maybe a bit weaker ring and pinion and finding traction. Course if you are 2wd it would be real easy to throw something small on for the track with 4.10's
