Default 5.3 vs lt1

me and a dude plan on running its a 94 lt1 mark with a cast head lt1, auto completely stock, supposedly, but not ruling out the idea of spray but i help put the motor in and i know its stock, vs my bolt on tuned 150 hp shot on slicks any one know the out come??? he's telling me there is no way a truck will beat a lt1 i know i have before just trying to get some more input

A bolt on/geared single cab 5.3 should smash that car.

You should take that one pretty easily. He's just about as heavy as you, probably running highway gears too, and underpowered(270 hp stock).

Cast iron headed LT1's were only ever used in the B body cars. An F body LT1 will have aluminum heads regardless of the year, so obviously it's not stock......

camaro oh ok, so this isnt the motor it came with right? since you helped put in? my old 96 LT1 Z28 was running 8.80s stock in the 1/8th idk if that helps lol but im sure youll take the win

the motor is a cast headed lt1 straight out of a road master even down to the oil, i helped pull it and put it in so i know its stock, but like i said I know he has a nitrous kit laying around so I'm sure he'll throw it on it and not say anything. but is scared and will only do a 75-100
