i have a 4x4 1500hd and im turning it into a drag truck and i wanted to know if it was a good idea to keep it 4 wheel drive or make it 2 wheel drive? would it be better to keep it 4 wheel drive to get better traction at the line? any info would be helpful =)

 

id leave it 4 wheel drive and not have to worry about slicks or traction for a while...

nope i run mine in 4x4 hi all the time and after second gear i switch to 2wd(not sure if it actually comes out or not but i do it anyway lol)

i wouldn't use auto because it kinda slams in and that will cause more breakage IMHO
