Last time I was at the track my best 60ft was a 2.42 with consistant 2.43's. 15.9@86mph Truck is a 06' W/T RCSB 4.8/auto with 4.10's and a tune. From what I've seen most guys stock are running mid-15's why does mine seem so slow?

Bad weather? Whats the weight on your truck?

Yes mind went 15.4@89-90mph stock as an average. 2.3 60's.

Witht the tune, K&N air filter, muffler and some weight reduction it went 14.78@92.8mph 2.26 60'

I'd say your truck is heavy, you had a bad density altitude and possibly the tune isnt right? You're MPH is way down if all conditions were good.

 

I would say the tune isn't right. It should be running those times with out those mods.

 

The A/F is Perfect and I do mean absolutely flat/perfect all the way across.TQ management is set at zero. Shifts are 'firm' and shift points are around 5,800-6K.

 

i've got an 06 RCSB 4.8 w/ 3.23's. with just tuning i dropped a full second (16.6@84 to 15.6@90)

 

How much tq management do the 06's have? Does it have more during break-in like some might think?

 

well we turned the TQ management OFF as in ZERO. Did that at like 1,200 miles.

dang you chevy guys are throwing some high mph for the ET i think any way. my 15.45 stock run was ay 87.

 

auto...too hard to shift with out spilling your

 

my 4.8 with 3.73 gears a westers 93 hot tune and true dual flowmaster went a best of 15.01 at 90mph. After the cam it stayed in the 13's
