If the weather holds, I'll be headed to the track tonight. Haven't been in over a year, and I was wondering what y'all thought my 2003 4.8l rcsb sierra with a 4/6 drop will run (mods below).
LS1 Fans, Holley Hi-ram, 90mm throttle body, Isky triple 12, 3400 stall, vette servo, Assassin bars, relocated QA1 single adjustables, ET Streets, 3.42 gears, 93 SD Tune.
Last year it ran a 14.39 at 96mph with a 2.2sec 60ft on street tires. Since then I have done the Hi-Ram, 90mm throttle body, shock relocation. Just curious as to what I can expect. Will post up results when I get them. Thanks!

The reason I went with the hi-ram was I'd rather spend the money now and do it once, rather than spending more money and redoing different parts of the build as I progress. So, I did the hi-ram, 124lb injectors, -8an feed and -6 return, and walboro 450 - definitely overkill for a cam only 4.8l but I should be set for a while. My 76mm kit arrived today, and I'll only be running this 4.8l as long as it lasts and then I'll build the lq9 block I have.
I really wanted to be able to cut a good 60ft and run in some cooler weather in hopes of getting a mid 13 second pass with a N/A 4.8l, which I don't even know if that would be a good or bad time given the mods I've done, but we might be too close to summer for dry, cool air here in NC. Oh well, its an experiment. Maybe next week I'll have some better times.
