But all cases are different to a degree (may effect superchargers more so than turbo cars). Just my input on 24 years at the drags.

A supercharger compresses the air available to it based on RPM, a turbo continues to compress air until it hits it's target boost. That's why they have such drastic ply different reactions to DA.

It kills off some of the massive low end and moves it higher in rpm range. Idles great and tuning was easy. So far I am very happy with it.
A few more specs on this setup
Tms 370 stock crank.
Diamond pistons & H beam rods.
Cnc lsa heads. 10.4 compression.
1 7/8 fbody headers.

Hopefully I will get a chance to dyno it soon.
That's great to hear about the cam. Those characteristics are exactly what I am hoping for with my new setup using a similar profile cam.

I'm curious what RPM you shift at with that cam.

6600-6700. Well I try to being a manual trans It's a little difficult. I'm working on swaping in a 4l80 with a 3500 stall.

Bad ***... it must feel really strong in the mid to upper RPM area for a PD blower set up.

All my NA friends tell me the same thing. They just can't be convinced...somehow us boosted guys have an advantage...

I will say this, though... On a turbo setup from a few years ago, I dropped 1500 feet in elevation and had some pretty crazy traction issues that I didn't have previously. Not only that, but it went lean because I was suddenly out of fuel pump. DA makes a big difference, no matter how the engine gets its air.

I just know what I have experienced. I am sure a heavier vehicle experiences greater differences as well. I am not saying you are wrong.

You lauching off a two step, dumping the clutch, lifting to shift, have a wot box or what? I have a t56 as well. it's a lot of fun. Sucks to hear you are getting away from it.

No two step, just dump it at about 3500. I alway lift to shift.
