Same valve springs and pushrods that are in the Camaro SS's...they shift at 6500 stock.

Yea I know, I just figured in a heavy truck like that it would take a long time to spin up there especially considering the stock cam.

It makes huge power up top...the MPH says enough. I picked up 3 mph bumping it from 6,000 to 6,500.

Cool man, put some 28" slicks on there and hit a low 13.

fortplainman 08-30-2010 11:16 PM

wow nice man! i bet that thing is gona be fast with a cam in it to really help out the air flow.

Stangkilr 08-30-2010 11:19 PM

I dont know if im going to do a cam or not. Might just put some lighter wheels on it and spray it. Does anyone know what the record if for a stock motor factory 6.2L truck right now?
