If this truck had a 6 speed(and maybe the 6.1 or 6.4 lol), it would be perfect

There is a Tundra guy on one of the Dodge forums who basically said "I hate to admit it, but I haven't seen a Tundra quicker than 13.8-13.9"...which is still freaking hauling for a big *** truck.

I didn't realize that with the GCsrt8. Maybe it is. I've tried to get info(stall, str) out of Dodge, because basically they put out those vids and all that pre-production info saying it has a higher stall converter, but never any real facts on it. A lot of people were skeptical about it, but it's pretty obvious when you drive it.

Thats very impressive times for a stock truck! Especially with 20's! Put some 17's on there with some DR's on the back and watch the times drop!

There are a few tricks to do, but I wanted to get these runs in absolutely stock. Didn't even mess with the tire pressure, we drove it 90 minutes to the track and started making passes as is. I mean, it was lowered, but I don't think anyone is gonna bitch about that

There is a stock '09 rcsb slt Ram running just about a 14 flat, he's hoping to hit 13s. 3.92s + the stock 17s pretty much equal my 4.10s and stock 20s, and his truck weighs less than mine.

A 2wd qc on stock 17s(and 3.92s) hit 14.5 last week!!

Glad to see you educating the Chevy guys. Nice runs, makes me want to test drive the new R/t. Hows it launch with the linked rear suspension?

I can understand the running in stock form deal but really, throw some 17" or smaller wheels on there and let's see what she'll really do. I bet you'd be surprised how much faster it'd be.
