spikes weight is 3450! just to clarify! and the motor is 468lsx

So telling all of us a full chromoly chassis with aluminum tin work and glass parts weighs 3450 must be a 400lb driver

Ls1truck shootout 2013 it came from owners mouth...3000lbs with driver in front of a few members


Theres full floor and frame trucks weighing 3400lbs and being twin turboed....so hows a chromoly chassis that heavy

Jajaja hey my last name is cantu and I can guarantee I'm not the one claiming that. Now, can it be done... Yes I believe it can be done but not on 11 psi nor 100 shot. It will take every bit of boost and nitrous you can hit it with and massive weight reduction.

 

truck alone with no motor, tranny or turbos was 2800! after everything was added weight was 3450

 

i think his name is jason cantu .... i do find it real hard to belive he did it with 11psi no doubt ..... i was on 21psi for the 10.05 now did twins so i guess with 10 psi i should be on the low 10s lol .........but i guess we would have to agree with him since he ran the 9s lol

 

spikes truck is not near to what everyone with full chassis is running on boost ! we were at 24psi on the stock operating system no ramping no more boost so imagine if truck was to go 40 psi like any other? weight plays a big role but we were aiming for the truck to be on the 2600-2800 with everything on but didnt happen ! when spike was full chassis truck weight was at 3680 so was it worth going tubular ??? i doubt it!

 

I know it wasnt you but seems as cantu is common

 

How is your project coming along? I'm waiting for Holley to release the hi ram intake so I can go with a 417 Motorsports intercooler but damn Holley is slacking
