Hey yall what do i need to get to the mid to low 13's in a Z71 strd cab, long bed 2004 5.3L silverado? (automatic)
Im thinking-
75shot of nitrous
Nelson tune
Flowmaster muffler w/ no cat-
Shorty headers
intake
TB spacer
Underdrive pullies
Will this do the trick??

I would forget the TB Spacer since the claims they make are BS and the shorty headers will not be much better than the stock exhaust manifolds.
If you look under those ugly covers on the stockers you can see they are not the crappy cast iron manifolds of old.
They flow about as good as shorties.
Get some long tube headers for more mid to top end power. Allot of people here have the Pacesetter long tubes, but there are plenty of other brands that will work too.
The flowmasters will not be a popular choice here either. You should ask around in the engine and exhaust performance section.
I'm not digging on you, its just what you will hear from allot of people here who have blown the money on the wrong parts and learned the hard way.
If you are thinking of doing nitrous you may as well go for a 100 shot off the bat, with the other mods you could have 150 more horse than stock if its tuned right.
Just make sure your NOS system is properly installed!
Nelson tune would be a good choice too.
